Honeycomb: Nature’s Purest Honey
The most nutritious form of raw honey is honey still sealed within the wax cells of the honeycomb. In this pristine state, honey contains very little water, preserving its rich concentration of vitamins, enzymes, pollen, and antioxidants. Honeycomb offers a truly unprocessed experience, ensuring you enjoy honey as nature intended.
Our exquisite Borage Honeycomb comes from hives nestled in the borage fields of the rural Eastern counties of England. During June and July, our bees gather nectar and pollen from these vibrant summer blooms to create this exceptional honeycomb. Borage honey is celebrated for its light, delicate flavour, making it a favourite among connoisseurs of English honey.
Can you eat the wax? Absolutely! The beeswax that encases the honey is edible. While it’s naturally chewy and often compared to a wholesome alternative to chewing gum, its best enjoyed in moderation. Whether spread on toast or eaten straight from the comb, honeycomb offers a uniquely delightful and nutritious treat.
